Julia Bauer is an international journalist and moderator educated at the London School of Economics, Columbia University, Munich Business School and Diplomatic Academy of Vienna.
She moderates events and video content on business, finance, automotive, health, digitalization and award ceremonies. After working for several years for Germany’s leading private news channel N24 in Berlin, Julia now lives in Zurich.
Next to her strong European understanding, she has performed on stages in Brazil and China and has hosted many global hybrid and digital events. Always serious – but also with a deep understanding and sense of humor.
Julia is also a special ambassador for organizations that campaign for children’s rights and combat human trafficking. As a member of a family of doctors, she also has a deep insight into the current healthcare system.
Prior to her journalistic career, she gained professional experience at the UNODC, the German Embassy in Bangkok, the German Permanent Mission in Geneva as well as in international companies and hotels. She therefore has a deep understanding of the current economic and political landscape.

Julia has been published as an author in Die Zeit, Financial Times, NZZ, Huffington Post and many more. She works as a reporter for WDR, takes a close look at various four-wheelers for the auto motor und sport channel, presents various news formats, a travel show on Radio Antenne Frankfurt and top-class events in German or English.
She has been voted presenter of the year several times in a row.
